The OCR Document Viewer is a powerful tool that allows you to interact with uploaded documents and their extracted OCR data. This comprehensive guide will walk you through all available features and functionality.

Overview​

The Document Viewer provides an intuitive interface for viewing documents, interacting with OCR fields, and efficiently extracting data for processing. Whether you're working with invoices, receipts, contracts, or any other document type, the viewer offers tools to streamline your data extraction workflow.

Getting Started​

When you open a document in the viewer, you'll see the document image on the left and extraction form fields on the right. The toolbar at the top provides various controls and options to enhance your document processing experience.

Zoom Controls​

Navigate and examine documents with precision using the zoom controls:

  • Zoom In - Get a closer look at document details and fine text
  • Zoom Out - See more of the document at once for better context
  • Reset Zoom - Return to the original view size

🔆 OCR Fields Highlighting​

Toggle OCR field highlighting to visualize all detected text fields on the document. When enabled:

  • All recognized OCR fields are highlighted with colored overlays

Usage: Toggle the "highlightOCR" option in the toolbar to enable/disable field highlighting.

📢 OCR Field Tooltips​

Enable detailed tooltips to see confidence scores and additional information when hovering over OCR fields.

  • Confidence Scores - Shows how certain the system is about the recognized text

🔀 Drag & Drop OCR Fields​

How it works:

  1. Enable "Drag & Drop OCR Fields" in the toolbar
  2. Click and hold on any OCR field in the document
  3. Drag the field data to the corresponding form field on the right

  • Works seamlessly with selection tools

🔢 Multi Click Selection​

Select multiple OCR fields individually for batch operations.

How to use:

  1. Enable "Multi Click Selection" in the toolbar
  2. Hold the Ctrl key while clicking on OCR fields
  3. Each clicked field will be added to your selection
  4. Selected fields can be processed together

Important: You must hold the Ctrl key while clicking to select multiple fields. Clicking without Ctrl will deselect previous selections.

🎯 Marquee Selection (Area Selection)​

Select multiple OCR fields by drawing a selection rectangle around them.

How to use:

  1. Enable "Marquee Selection" in the toolbar
  2. Hold the Ctrl key while clicking and dragging
  3. Draw a selection box around the fields you want to select

  • Selecting fields in a specific document section

  • Quick selection of multiple line items
